Golden Yunnan is a smooth black tea with an abundance of golden tips. This tea creates a delightful brew with many layers of flavour and aroma. It is relatively strong but has none of the bitter after taste usually associated with strong teas. It will easily take a drop of milk but is a superb tea to enjoy black due to its roundness of flavour and lingering palate. |

Its liquor is rich and dark and its bouquet provides chocolate and caramel overtones. This tea takes a drop of milk with aplomb, which makes it a very versatile tea for any time of the day.

Keemum tea is sourced from Southern China. It is often regarded as the original breakfast tea due to its rich colour and flavour. Characterised by deep berry coloured liquor, Keemum tea has a strong fruity flavour with a hint of pepper. What makes this tea so special is that it is flavoursome and distinctive, but without any of the tannin one would expect from a strong red tea. Ideal black or with milk, Keemun energizes and revitalises, almost daring you drink a strong brew. |

The 2007 crop from Dikom Estate produced a superb example of an Assam tea – robust and malty. This tea is a slightly larger leaf than our Assam blend and has a delightful burst of flavour for those who enjoy their teas with extra strength. |

Far in India’s northeast lies the state of Assam. The hot, wet greenhouse environment is home to the only native tea bushes (camellia sinensis) outside of China. In the wild these plant grow the size of trees, but within the plantations, the carefully plucked and manicured bushes provide a dark, strong brew. Assam teas are famous the world over as the “espresso” of teas. Not for the faint hearted, this blend is a broken leaf for extra strength and darkness. Assam tea aficionados would not have their tea any other way. World par-Tea’s choice is a flowery broken orange pekoe grade one – meaning the tea has a high proportion of tips among its small leaves, balancing strength with refinement. |

World Par-Tea’s blend is in the Irish tradition of strong broken leaves. Dark teas from both the subcontinent and Ceylon are uniquely blended to create a potent brew with a full body. Most commonly, this style of tea is taken with milk, which balances the palate. |

Our Russian Caravan is blended for those who enjoy a pine wood withered tea for its smoky character, but like their tea to be more adaptable. This blend can be enjoyed with milk, as its character is smoky, but balanced with the buttery smoothness of high grown orange pekoe. Originally, tea traders from Europe would buy tea from China as they travelled and withered the leaved where they camped while returning overland through Russia. This style of tea has legions of fans the world over. |

| English Breakfast Premium |
|
 |

World Par-Tea has gone back in time to create a new approach to an English style tea. Choice red Chinese teas are blended with the smooth taste of Ceylon leaves, creating a style that was the first choice of English aficionados long before the era of mechanisation and mass production. Full of flavour and colour without losing its poise and becoming bitter, this tea reflects what a really good English brew should be. World Par-Tea blend smaller leaves for strength and larger leaves for refinement and character, so some settling may occur – just stir the tin before taking a spoonful. |
